CAD: HS.98 : Brainstorming Solutions(all,IA) 
  
There are many benefits to using computers and design software, however there are some negative factors (i.e. expense, complications to learn, outdated equipment/software, etc.). While introducing CAD to students, utilize LK lesson HS.98, Brainstorming Solutions, to determine when CAD is most appropriate.
 
CAD: MS.56 : Modifying and Evaluating Actions (1,IA) 
  

After having students complete a CAD project (Landscape design, House plans, etc.) teach the LK lesson on Modifying and Evaluating Actions. Have the students evaluate, identify potential problems and modify their projects.
 
CAD: HS.27 : Using Creativity (all,IA) 
  

Graphic programs can be used to create concrete items such as buildings or it can be used to create a visual concept. Involve students in an exercise to create a visual drawing of an idea or thought.
